Thanks for coming with me on that poetry journey last month. This is just a few paragraphs about how I’m feeling about it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
First off, I had fun. It was enjoyable stretching writing muscles in different ways. Second off, I’m pretty glad it’s over. *deletes reminder timer on my phone with a sigh of relief* <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That being said, it proves to me that even when I’m busy (man<\/em> has this month been busy) I can still find maybe half an hour to work on writing. I can do it, I just need to make myself reach for that instead of something else. It also proves to me that I can wring something creative out of my brain even when it’s feeling spent. They’re good things to learn, even if I might feel grumpy about it when I’m drained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That being said, it also proves to me there are times when my brain’s been wrung dry. BUT hope is not lost because a good night’s sleep is a good restorative so maybe I should take it easy on myself those days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Most of all, though, it shows me there’s a lot out there to still learn and do and it’s nice to find new things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I’ll have an index of the month’s poems up here soon; hope you all enjoyed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Intellectual Property of Elizabeth Doman <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Thanks for coming with me on that poetry journey last month.
